Since the ABC Bible Quilt Journal was printed in the Fall of 2019, I've developed a few patchwork pages that can summarize a topic from A to Z.
Here are a few ideas:
ABCs of God's Everlasting Attributes (A - Almighty to Z - Zealous)
ABCs of Salvation
ABCs of a Christian's Faith
ABCs of our Family's Values
You can create prayer pages for individuals, claiming character traits you are praying for them to develop. Read more on this blog post: ABC Prayers for Students
Or you can use any of these ABCs of the Bible templates as an Introductory page to your ABC journal...or one at the end for a summary page. This trio set gives you plenty of options...even if you just want to use one for brainstorming words/phrases to go with that letter that you'll look up later.
These pages are a simple yet fun format to invite kids/grandkids to join you in this A to Z quest!
You can add them to your ABC Bible Quilt or incorporate them into your original Bible Quilt Journal.
I've even made a color copy of one that I did for my son in his BQJ and have placed it under a clear desk blotter so as he does Distance Learning, it's a visual reminder of encouragement for him. Another way you could reinforce these traits is to make and ABC flip card set with the full verse on one side and the attribute personalized for your child on the other. Then keep it available in your car to pray over these verses for your child as you're waiting in the carpool pick-up line.
Please share in the Comments if you've got any other ideas for these!
Lovely patchwork!
I made two summary pages for the beginning of my alpha pages - one about God and one about me. I loved all the different letters, washi and stitches I did on the God page but I am definitely attracted more to a cleaner look such as the I AM page where I used patterned paper and the same stitch throughout. My goal is to cover up all the white!
