Sometimes it takes us a little while to get a page completed. And that's OK!
I started this Christmas tree a few weeks ago by ripping a scrapbook paper into a triangular shape, leaving the edges rough. I glued it onto the journal page and added a few stickers.

Then about a week later, I received a generic Christmas card with some ornaments on it and cut one out to use as a tab for this Christmas-y page. I added some other stickers that I had out on my desk for another project... then went on my merry way to something else.

Last week after my devotional reading, I turned to this page again to add a verse that kept resonating with me. I drew in some stitch lines, played around with a white gel pen, and slipped a little washi tape on there, too.

This week I finished it up with a few more stickers, another handwritten verse, and some stamped snowflakes. A few background doodles were the finishing touches. I opted out of a title on the tab because it's pretty apparent it's a Christmas page and I thought the ornament tab was cute enough on its own.

Much of the time it's the PROCESS of contemplating these verses and considering how different elements combine together rather than the finished product.
