Processing grief has a lot of different phases.
Sometimes we wade through waves of loss, tossing about through "expected" transitions yet other times getting mired down in unexpected ways. Triggers flare up memories that are vivid and surreal.
As I was reflecting on a loss recently, my thoughts inevitably turned to the sweet gift of eternal life we have through Jesus...and the renewal of hope of reconnecting with our loved ones. It's humbling to consider how fleeting life is, especially during a pandemic, isn't it?
I created this "eternal life" page off and on the past couple months. It helped soften some of the sharp edges of grief I was experiencing, so I thought I would share it with you.
This page is on the Block-16 template, a simple format for a variety of themes. (Apparently at the time I was preparing that batch of templates, I was lacking inspiration for names for this one. So, let me know if you've got a name idea for this one!)
