Each season brings its own flavor and personality, doesn't it?.
As we step into March we begin to see signs of spring and those bright-green shamrocks emerging in elementary classrooms, store displays, and social media.
Did you know that St Patrick used this little 3-leaf plant to teach about the Holy Trinity?
My high school friend, Lara, did a little research on St Patrick and got inspired to create a Shamrock template for our BQ community.
We've both been playing around with it and thought we'd share it with you, too! I think kids/grandkids will enjoy helping you color this one.
You can print this Shamrock template on white card stock...or experiment with printing it on green, if you're feeling lucky!
I cut out green hearts to accentuate the shamrock and used a combination of white and gold metallic pens that would show up on green paper. I hadn't found any shamrock stickers yet, so I used some gold to tie in with the gold lettering.
Shamrocks often are associated with visions of pots of gold at the end of the rainbow, too. I used some scriptures related to treasure to capture this aspect.
"But store up for yourselves treasure in heaven; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:20-21
