The featured template for April in the Monthly Bible Quilt Journal is the Rainbow 2.
This is an excellent "excuse" to pull out all your colorful washi tape and have fun creating a cheerful rainbow page!
You can fill each section of the rainbow with washi or alternate with colored pencil designs. Your choice!
Note: In hindsight I would add more red patterns on the left to balance it out a little more.
Once you've got your rainbow full of colorful patterns, then select your verses and start filling in your quilt squares.
I also applied some additional washi tape to incorporate more spring elements - umbrellas, butterflies, and flowers.
One of the verses in our Promises of God series was a little too long to handwrite, so I played around and made it into a sticker (fits into the upper lefthand or a couple of the middle quilt squares.)
I used Papermate Flair pens of the same rainbow colors to write out the remainder of my chosen scriptures, then added some stickers and doodles.
Initially I planned to leave the clouds white, but ended up shading the edges with prismacolor pencils.
So many great colors and promises to fill up this page! Can't wait to see your pages, my friends!
