Want to add a little extra texture to your tabs?
After you download the tab template pdf from the online shop, you can print out the tab set on a different color of card stock to distinguish this section from others in your Bible Quilt Journal.
I chose a piece of parchment card stock for this set of tag tabs:
Since this set of TAG tabs already has a little circle centered at the top, it's easy to line up a single hole-punch to make a hole through the tab. (although if you look closely at the only photo I took of this step, I was NOT on target! 🤪)
Then thread a narrow ribbon or baker's twine and tie with a simple knot. Over time these will get loose and unwind, but that adds its own sense of texture! (my scouts would probably suggest burning the tips to "seal" them, but I'm good with the "loose" look!)
Now this section has it's own "personality" as the fringe-y twine pokes out in different directions! You can choose to use all the same color ribbon/twine, put in rainbow order, or mix it up with whatever you have on hand like I did.
Of course you can hole-punch and add ribbon to other tabs also, not just this TAG set.
Maybe you have a "designated color" for each of your kids that you've used to organize other stuff? Simply adding that color to their BQ page and adding a tag ribbon in that same color "ties" this theme together in your journal, too!
