We are all on the move, carpooling kiddos around and running errands. Sometimes when I've got a gap in between activities, I'll snag a few minutes to add a couple verses to my #biblequiltjournal.
I keep this tote bag stocked with basic supplies: Bible, my current Bible Quilt journal, washi tape (a larger binder ring keeps it secure on the handle), Papermate flair pens tucked in on one side and colored pencils on the other side. I keep a pair of scissors and a post-it notepad in the end pockets.
Depending on where I'm at and how much time I have, I might be creative with writing verses on a page or I might add some doodling to pages-in-progress. Sometimes I'm surrounded by too many distractions and I'll just add swatches of washi tape throughout the journal.
If it's been a really hectic day, I'll just pull out my Bible and read or maybe reflect on a certain page in my Bible Quilt.
I usually have time during a lull to find a verse or two for the letter-of-the-week in my ABCbiblequiltjournal or at least can brainstorm some words/phrases to add the references onto my ABC flip card set.
Having my supply tote available in my car makes these little snippets of time more scripture-focused than scrolling through social media.
Each time we glance over verses in our journals, it sinks in a little deeper...and we may even discover we're memorizing verses or at least becoming more familiar with where to find our favorites.
