Our theme for this Christmas season is 31 Days of Joy.
"The Lord your God is with you. He is mighty to save...He will take great delight in you.
He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17
With all the various activities/tasks this month, it's good to ground ourselves in a little quiet creativity. Sometimes a hymn or carol can inspire a page. You can do a freestyle page using an actual hymnal page or maybe trie adding lyrics with verses on a Music template.

If you've got some time to begin preparing your Monthly BQJ, here's an overview of how I'm setting mine up. Let me know how it's going for you. This will be our first full year doing it together, so I'm open to suggestions!
Titles & Stickers for your #monthlyBQJ or #BQcalendar
I'm giving some of the calendars as gifts and using some of the 2020 reference lists to provide a helpful resource to recipients that may need a little boost to get started. You could also include a package of planner stickers that would have seasonal embellishments for them to use throughout the year.

Hope each of you are experiencing some sweet moments of Joy in this pandemic-flavored season. It's a tender time for many people and we're all affected in some way.
"let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them sing for joy. spread your protection over them, that those who love your Name may REJOICE in You." Psalm 4:11

Experiment with Bacon & Brie like I did and see what your favorite combo is!
We're winding down this crazy year and beginning to lean in to a New year.
Follow along with us for 31 Days of Wisdom in January and kick start the year with a wonderful focus on verses of discernment. For my own personal challenge, I'm going to be reading a chapter of Proverbs each day and shading a square on my January calendar page in my Monthly BQJ to track my progress. #digdeeper
I'm excited to use the new BQ Notes journal for my sermon notes and Bible study summaries. Sometimes trying a different format will motivate us in different ways. What are you trying to put add a little zip to your devotional time?
