April is just around the corner with all the hopes of spring blossoming around us. Are you about ready to transition into a new topic?
Let's dive into the Promises of God this month!
I selected one of the verses to feature on my calendar page.
"The righteous person may have troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all." Psalm 34:17
I'm using pastel colors and seasonal stickers to capture the flavor of spring on this month's pages.
Stephanie, our local Tulsa friend, has cultivated a great collection of verses for us to explore this month.
You can get the printable reference list and make a handy bookmark to use as you look up the daily scriptures.
The next step is to write out the daily verses onto a flip card set. Choose whatever Bible translation you'd like.
Or if you prefer them printed, Mary Jo has formatted the scriptures onto a flip card set that will give you a jumpstart.
Then you're ready to start filling in the 2-page "Promises of God" spread with the daily scriptures.
Do you like to listen to Bible verses?
I found this audio/video on God's promises. 3 hours of scripture reading!
The featured template this month is the Rainbow 2. It's a fun one to color or to adorn with washi tape!
A couple years ago I did a couple BQ pages using the resource by Arabah Joy, Praying the Promises. You're welcome to pop over to that link and get some additional inspiration.
Are you reading anything in particular for Lent? You could summarize resources or a sermon series on this new template set.
The Cross template is in the April 2022 BQ Calendar and can be used for any Easter theme or verses from this month's topic.
With Easter on the horizon, you may be interested in doing some special Easter pages with your kiddos or grandchildren. You can go freestyle with your own design or get a jumpstart with a template, such as the Crosses on Stained Glass.
Join us as we launch into April together for a special evening Zoom session this Thursday!
