This Women of the Word Bible Quilt® Journal kit includes an unbound printed packet, a set of starter discs, and a Happy Planner pocket.
A plastic cover is provided as a protective layer to the front of your journal. This 52-page journal has 42 templates with unique designs for you to add scriptures and take in-depth notes on characters in the Bible. The interior template pages are printed on 67-lb vellum bristol paper which has a lovely texture for writing and shading with colored pencils or gelatos. My favorite pens, medium Papermate Flairs, do not bleed through this thickness of paper. The pages of this journal are not numbered so you can arrange them in whatever order you would like as.
A 5-page set of heavy cardstock tabs with an extensive list of women's names found in the Bible is part of this packet. This is not a complete compilation by any means, but it provides you with a great foundation to begin exploring women's stories throughout the Bible. Also included is a sticker page with a collection of images that you may use to decorate your BQ pages.
Assemble this packet with a disc-bound system, using a Happy Planner punch (not included in kit), as shown in listing photos. I'll tuck a set of 11 starter discs with this packet so you'll be ready to put it together upon arrival. Also in this kit is a Happy Planner pocket to help you corral tabs, notes, stickers, or other supplies for your journaling process.
This video offers an overview of my journal in progress. A disc-bound journal allows you to move pages around freely, depending on the categories you'd like to divide the women into. You can work with one page at a time on a clipboard, carrying to and from Bible study until it's complete and ready to insert into your journal. As your studying progresses, you can add more pages and update your journal with larger discs.
